How to Install Photoshop Brushes

Installing Adobe Photoshop Brushes [.abr] Files

• Installing these 'abr' brush set files is easy. You simply need to copy the file to the correct directory. If you downloaded the brush set in a zip file, you can just extract the 'abr' file straight to the right place.

• All you need to do is copy and paste that .abr file to Photoshop program folder, [under the subdirectory 'Brushes']

For example,

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7\Presets\Brushes\

• Simply copy the file there, and the next time you start Photoshop, the brushes will be available from your brush set menu.

Also there is a software called .abr viewer to view all photoshop brushes without installing them;

This is very useful software when u r using many downloaded .abr files for your projects.

• With this .abr viewer u can have a preview of a brush set without having to install it or running Photoshop
• And You can even adjust thumbnails size and you can have the preview of the actual size of the brush.
• This software is able to generate images for every single brush and can also generate the general image from the panel of the thumbnails you have visualised.
